This workshop is for 6th class pupils. A 6th Class Attendee's parent/s sit in on virtual workshop in a passive capacity with their 6th class pupil.
Transitioning to secondary school can be a time that is mentally challenging for a pupil's wellbeing. The School Transitioning, Wellbeing and Me Workshop will look at the elements of wellbeing and each student will be empowered in developing their own resilience skills to help them on their journey into secondary school. The workshop also covers the practical elements of secondary school in great detail. The workshop is delivered over 2 days, Part 1 for 1 hour on Day 1 and Part 2 for 1 hour on Day 2. A consent form on a survey monkey link will be sent out through Eventbrite post booking and prior to the event. Zoom links will be sent out through Eventbrite 24 hours prior to the event.

Module 3 Secondary School- First Week Survival Tools
Module 4 Be in Control- Power of positivity and building resilience skills including grounding techniques
24 hours before the workshop commences you will be sent workshop requirements, zoom etiquette and log in details.
Course will be delivered by a qualified teacher and health and wellbeing expert who has been Garda Vetted and has Completed all Children's First Requirements.

The 6th Class School Transitioning Online Workshop is also available to book for 6th class groupings in schools through the 6th class teacher/ school principal. Discounted rates are available through school bookings for 6th classes.
